Giclee printing uses pigment based inks that produce excellent colour reproduction and longevity, the prints are guaranteed not to fade or discolour for over 100 years (although as with all printed paper based products it is safer to keep them out of strong sunlight). The paper we have chosen is a heavy smooth 320gm acid free archival paper made entirely of cotton fibres. We have been amazed at the quality of reproduction of our different works. Working closely with the printers to achieve the balance of colour and texture, for the stitched work particularly, has achieved remarkable results.
All the prints are signed and titled; most are published as limited editions and each of these will be individually numbered. The smaller prints are published as open editions and are not numbered. The sizes listed for Janet Haigh are the paper sizes, ready for framing. they include the paper margins for signatures, title and edition numbers. Stephen Jacobson’s print information states size of Image only. Most of the prints can be re-sized as a special order. Please Contact Us for any queries about developing bespoke prints.
All the prints on the website are printed to order, so allow 1 week to 10 days for dispatch. They are sold unframed, due to ease of shipping and costs for posting. The larger prints will be rolled and wrapped with acid free tissue in cardboard tubes. The smaller prints will be similarly wrapped and posted flat. If required a signed and dated document of authentication can be included.
We are using Royal Mail Tracked for all our deliveries. Post and Packaging within the UK is FREE. Outside the UK, all shipping prices will appear at checkout before completing the transaction.
